Sammie writes: The FIDM costume exhibit in LA which includes the LOTR costumes has a little visual joke. (I’m assuming it’s a joke). The mannequin wearing Isildur’s armor is also wearing Gandalf’s silver scarf just under its surcoat. Look for it. The LOTR costumes by the way are much more like historical clothing than costumes. The difference in detailing and manufacture makes the rest of the exhibit look unbelievably tacky.
