Just heard on the radio this morning that a special Howard Shore composition is being performed at the Melbourne Festival in Australia
At the Iwaki Auditorium, the Australian Art Orchestra will continue its quest for new music with the world premiere of Orbit, composed especially for the ensemble by master film composer, Howard Shore; and Ross Daly and his ensemble will perform a concert which will evoke the beauty and mystique of the music of the Mediterranean and its hinterlands. I was just watching the Food Network Canada of all channels when an ad came on for a LOTR “Trivia Quest” which is supposedly being launched on November 10th.
The ad basically showed a few clips from the most recent trailer as well as some flashes of some of the prizes (the only one I can remember is what looked like a customized VW Bug). It seemed sort of like a teaser for the contest, not giving out any details except to say that it was being launched November 10th.
