Lyven wrote in to say: “Hey, guys, I just wanted you to know that the Brazilian website Herois.com (about comics, movies and tv) has reported that Warner Bros. decided to postpone LOTR:FOTR in Brazil to January 1, 2002. The previous date was December 21, 2001.”

Region 2 DVD collectors have often been the ‘poor cousins’ when it comes to release dates and disc features. However, UK site ‘R2 Project’has posted news that WB will be releasing Ralph Bakshi’s Lord Of The Rings in widescreen and in a special box set in November.
