Tim has seen the trailer!
Just saw a special sneak preview of Pearl Harbor at the AMC 20 in Tulsa, OK thanks to a local radio station promotion. Yes, the new trailer was on and it was great. Much different feel than the first.
I am currently sending my troops down to Tulsa to bleed more info out of Tim as we speak, more info to come!

The Kirkland Coliseum will have the trailer with one of the three copies of Pearl Harbor. There will be no refunds for people who just want to see it and not the movie. More info on this theatre tomorrow (I will be heading out there this weekend)

I found this little nugget of info buried within an essay that Roger Ebert wrote from Cannes.
Here is Bob Shaye, president of New Line Pictures. He has invested $170 million (270 million I think -Xo) in “Lord of the Rings,” which will come out at Christmas. “Everyone thinks we’ve bet the company,” he says, “but after selling the international rights, the video and the after-markets, we’re 85 percent covered. What kills me is the cost of sequels. `Rush Hour’ cost us $32 million. It’s a hit, so we make a sequel. The sequel costs $92 million.”
