lord-of-the-rings-cat-house This is amazing.

Propsmaker and FX group Tim Baker Creations designed a one-of-a-kind Bag End cat box and Barad-dûr scratching pole for Tolkien fan Misha Pollack and his cats Frodo and Sam. The group used styrene foam, epoxy and more than 650 feet of coiled rope to create Barad-dûr, while the Bag end kitty box is a shaped fibreglass shell reinforced with dowel, and covered with lichen to replicate the grassy fields of the Shire.

Oh, and the Eye of Sauron is actually filled with catnip. Fab.
