ImladrisRose – Pow! Smash!
Gramma – It’s already strange to see Legolas fighting in the town’s wreckage and not among the trees.
Kelvarhin – And why aren’t there any locals around? Even if they’re only running away…

ImladrisRose – That’s a pretty high jump there.
Kelvarhin – More Elvish action.
MrCere – I really like this dark figure (but with blond locks) against a Mirkwood background. It is a beautiful image. There are about four stunt sequences in a row that makes me believe WB is going to market that aspect hard.

ImladrisRose – I know Kung Fu.
MrCere – Uptight much Legolas? Every shot with him so far seems to be oozing conflict.
Sarumann – Yup, Leggy. You’ve still got it.

ImladrisRose – Impressive.

ImladrisRose – See, he is clearly leading her on here. Or vice-versa. Whichever it is, he looks like he really likes her here.
Elessar – Tauriel and Legolas having another heart-to-heart. I do believe she’s going to be the reason he’s so willing to join The Fellowship.
Kelvarhin – Legolas and Tauriel sharing a moment… I can hear the Leggie fangirls screaming.
MrCere – Despite the hints dropped in this trailer, I suspect Legolas will admire more than overtly be romantically involved with Tauriel.

ImladrisRose – Uh oh. Not good. I am really liking this plot line idea though. I like that, through her, we can learn more about Legolas and why he is the way he is.
Demosthenes – So it’s not a romance if it’s unrequited? Will Tauriel be fending off both a dwarf and an elf? Oh, and she’s gonna get toasted at BOFA. Sorry guys.
Gramma – Why do I get the feeling Thranduil has just sealed Tauriel’s fate?
Kelvarhin – Tauriel being told to back off from Legolas. Parents are so judgemental 😉 (Fangirls are rejoicing)
Rud the Spud – Oooooh love complications! It’s not in the book, doesn’t mean it can’t be good. I’m reserving my judgement.
Sarumann – Some have speculated that this is Thranduil telling Tauriel to shut down Legolas’ affections because she clearly doesn’t return it. I think it’s more because she is of a lower caste than him.

ImladrisRose – Love seeing that.
MrCere – Wait, the same guy who did “Lord of the Rings” did this? CRAZY!

Garfiemao – Dale in ruins, looks nice from a distance.
Gramma – Thorin has finally arrived.
Kelvarhin – Dale, it looks more ruinous than last time, I wonder if that’s one of the tweaks they’ve been working on. Or am I just mis-remembering?
Saystine – This is going to be a really powerful scene. Thorin seeing his home after being away so long.

Altaira – Once again, the stunning landscape of New Zealand is going to play a strong supporting role. One of the more important aspects of tying these movies to the LOTR movies in my opinion. The more, the better!
ImladrisRose – They keep multiplying.
Elessar – The Dwarves looking over a torn-apart Dale and what Smaug can do even when he isn’t aiming for something.
Gramma – What a beautiful shot of Dale and the Mountain.
Sarumann – Love this shot of Dale!
Saystine – For many of the dwarves, this will be the first time they have seen Erebor.
