Come one, come all, to share in the fellowship of Tolkien fans at the annual HALL OF FIRE outdoor party hosted by the Los Angeles Tolkien Forever group! This is the grand event we mentioned at the recent Baggins’ Birthday Bash that is definitely a *must-see* event for Ringers all across Southern California! The party is THIS SATURDAY, October 13th , right around the corner — and features fan creativity at its BEST! The entire area is populated with Middle-earth “mini pavilions” which are artful settings (like a spider-filled Mirkwood area and the ever-popular Flaming Mumak Tavern) and great people all around. We even have a few prizes to give out this year. Come celebrate the release of The Hobbitwith other excited fans!The Party is at a private residence in Glendora, CA. All hobbity good food and drinks are Potluck, so please bring something to share. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. You are also encouraged to bring instruments, poetry, games, anything you would like to share to show your love of Tolkien. The evening is highly participatory and open to suggested activities.All ages are welcome, but it is a multi-tiered backyard with a pool at night, so please keep an eye on the young ones, and always be respectful of the property and displays.The event is coming up fast! so please RSVP and let us know what yummy thing you can bring to snack on!!!
