TORn Message Boards Weekly Roundup – February 15, 2012

February 15, 2012 at 7:10 pm by grammaboodawg  -

Welcome to our collection of TORn’s hottest topics for the past week. If you’ve fallen behind on what’s happening on the Message Boards, here’s a great way to catch the highlights. Or if you’re new to TORn and want to enjoy some great conversations, just follow the links to some of our most popular discussions. Watch this space as every weekend we will spotlight the most popular buzz on TORn’s Message Boards. Everyone is welcome, so come on in and join in the fun!

Do you think a map of all the filming locations throughout New Zealand would be interesting?  Well, TORn Board Member ceppault thought so, too.  Behold ceppault’s Google map with the locations and descriptions of what was filmed there. Check it out right here on the Hobbit Discussion Board.

TORn’s Silverlode came up with an intriguing idea for Fantasy Casting… with a twist.  Spawned by ongoing discussions of whether more women are needed in “The Hobbit”, she wonders who you would cast if there was a gender-flip of the characters.  Of course, we can’t stop there!  Come and join the fun!

There’s always a flurry of excitement whenever there is someone else added to the cast.  So when TORn Member Eldaria shared the announcement that Billy Connolly has been cast as Dain Ironfoot, the reaction came fast and furious!  What do you think of who may be one of the final additions to the cast?  Discuss it with us here.

We’ll share more topics next week and hope you can join in on the conversation!  Don’t forget, TheOneRing.net’s message boards have over 7,400 registered Tolkien fans, just like you.  Let your voice be heard!
