Very sad. My condolences to family and friends. I am a big fan of many of the movies he worked with; the world lost a great swordsman. Rest in peace.

I had the great opportunity to work with Bob on the second season of “Highlander” the tv series in an episode called “Band of Brothers” when I played the character Grayson. Bob choreographed a great fight scene between Adrian Paul and I on a yellow mountain of sulphur in Vancouver which took twelve hours total to shoot, and in the pouring rain at that! He was always there–guiding, encouraging. I also got to work with his one-time partner, the late Peter Diamond on the “Zorro” series in Spain. Great men both, they leave a royal legacy; and flights of angels sing them to their rest.

Just a minor correction; Bob Anderson was responsible for the LotR fight scene choreography but not for the cultural fighting style design; that was a different department.
