TORn Message Boards Weekly Roundup – September 11 2011

September 11, 2011 at 9:15 pm by grammaboodawg  -

Welcome to our collection of TORn’s hottest topics for the past week. If you’ve fallen behind on what’s happening on the Message Boards, here’s a great way to catch the highlights. Or if you’re new to TORn and want to enjoy some great conversations, just follow the links to some of our most popular discussions. Watch this space as every weekend we will spotlight the most popular buzz on TORn’s Message Boards. Everyone is welcome, so come on in and join in the fun!

Have you ever wondered what it was like for the Fellowship to walk all those miles during the Quest?  Well, here’s a chance for you to join them on their journey!  TORn’s Arandiel will be relaunching our Walk  to Rivendell [and beyond] that we started back in February, 2003.  Meet us on the Main Discussion Board and check out the new aids and additions to keep you on the road and get some great exercise!

The Reading Room is reaching the end of the War of the Ring in The Lord of the Rings Chapter discussion; but not the end of the story.  They’ve just arrived at The Field of Cormallen and will make their way to Minas Tirith.  Come join in the journey and share your thoughts.

New TORn member Mybear wonders what scenes won’t be in The Hobbit and what new scenes will be added.  Come to The Hobbit Movie Discussion Board and see what hopes or fears posters have, and share ideas of your own as the anticipation for the films builds!

We’ll share more topics next week and hope you can join in on the conversation! Don’t forget, TheOneRing.net’s message boards have over 6,900 registered Tolkien fans, just like yourself! Let your voice be heard.
