Our good friend Kristin Thompson, author of The Frodo Franchise and preeminent Tolkien blogger, has posted a response to the Salon.com article by Andrew O’Hehir. If you are were unaware, the Salon.com piece, titled ‘Guillermo del Toro to make “Hobbit” films: Bleah!’ takes the stance that fan-favored director (see poll on right side of TORn) Guillermo del Toro is not a good match for ‘The Hobbit’ movies.
