Today in Middle-earth, March 23

The following event(s) took place in Middle-earth on March 23th:

  • The Host passes out of Ithilien. (3019)
  • Aragorn dismisses the faint-hearted. (3019)
  • Frodo and Samwise cast away their arms and gear. (3019)
  • In Minas Tirith, Éowyn and Faramir continue to recover from their wounds and would walk daily in the gardens of the Houses of the Healers which face east. (3019)
  • Pippin remains with the grim Men of the West. (3019)

1. The Host passes out of Ithilien.

2. Aragorn dismisses the faint-hearted.
