Childhood dyslexia taught Bloom to 'work twice as hard' Washington, Dec 7 : Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom revealed that his childhood dyslexia helped him carve a niche for himself in the Hollywood. The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star admitted that he used to struggle a lot with his schoolwork and it was his disability gave him a kick to excel in arts. “Because of the dyslexia I always thought I had to work twice as hard as everyone else just to go the same distance,” Contactmusic quoted the star as saying.
