The Middle Earth Festival will be held in downtown Vacaville, CA April 7-10. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s tremendously popular “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, the festival will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Houghton Mifflin’s publication of “The Fellowship of the Ring.” The Middle Earth festival is family-oriented and features numerous old-time demonstrations including: chain-mail making, calligraphy, spinning and weaving.
