Ringer Spy Nathan wrote in with this exciting bit of ROTK EE speculation: “Two of my friends and I waited at the Best Buy in Richfield MN … for the ROTK DVD. At the end of the night, a New Line Rep keeping a low profile at the event came up to us and told us how happy he was with our dedication. [....] We also talked about the EE DVD, and he told us to expect a January release, or late December, but that was unlikely. He added that they were looking at first releasing the EE in theatres, and that a ’super-trilogy’ Tuesday was under consideration, but not a definite, while mentioning that last year’s EE releases were very lucrative for the studio.”
