Half Price Books (5803 Northwest Hwy Dallas, TX 75231) is hosting ‘Tolkien Talk!’ tomorrow (November 22nd) which will be presented by professors from Texas A&M. After a brief introduction of Tolkien, the man and scholar, the talk explores how Tolkien adapted medieval sources for his novel and how adaptations of his work form the basis of the modern genre of fantasy in books and film.
