Wellington’s Lord of the Rings world premiere is not in jeopardy. The City Council has reversed its original decision to underwrite a $7 million refurbishment project for the Embassy Theatre, which they initially thought was a condition of the capital being the venue for the first showing of the final part of Peter Jackson’s trilogy.” [More]
