Matt writes: I live in the UK and have just been watching the program ‘Johnny Vaughan Tonight’, which happened to have Ian McKellan on. During a set of quick questions McKellen was asked ‘have you ever been impaled on a plank of wood?’ (in reference to this infamous pic we posted online). To which McKellan replied (Highlight to read!) !Spoilers! ‘Erm, not personally, but a friend of mine has. Christoper Lee in ‘The Two Towers’, something similar happens ot him!’
