Ringer Spy Telcontar sends along these shots from the forthcoming ANCANAR Trailer, ANCANAR is the indie LOTR related film being made out in LA.

The trailer is due out sometime this month I think, and included these shots–the first couple are a candle-flickering stone background with runes going across, turning into the text “A Hidden City”, then the last one showing the Rammoth valley with the text “A Legacy Threatened”. Ihe moving shots lookgreat (i’m biased), I haven’t seen the whole trailer though.

“Dominic Monaghan is a very busy boy. His mobile rings constantly, a pile of scripts are waiting to be read at home and he’s even got a list of things to do scribbled in blue biro on his arm. Why? The Mancunian actor reveals to T2 what it was like to appear as hobbit Merry Brandybuck in the epic adventure The Lord of the Rings”. [More]

Starting with Australia, and sends us word that he has seen Trailer II with the film ‘Atlantis’ (Lord of the Rings turned up after Harry Potter..it’s a conspiracy I tell you..). Check your cinema to see if they have it first. From Australia to Chile, and all Chile Ringers should know that they can see the trailer in front of ‘Planet of the Apes’ at CineHoyts. Home (for me) to Europe, and Norwegians can see the trailer before ‘AI: Artificial Intelligence’. Finally, ‘Amelie’ and ‘Driven’ are both showing the trailer in front of them in the United Kingdom.

Thanks to Tass, Israel & Debbie, Audun and Eowyn. If you know where Trailer II is showing in your area, send it in!

Hanok and Stefan both mailed us to say that Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet have an online poll on their frontpage pitting Lord of the Rings Vs Harry Potter (not for the first or last time). Out of nearly 10 thousand people, 88% have gone Lord of the Rings way…but some swedish Ringers might want to notch up a few % anyway. [More]

Also, I’ll tell you the result of the Empire poll when it’s finished…but suffice to say it’s took a big swing in LOTR’s favour!

Not LEGO, but Intelli-Blox, who knew there were more than one ‘block building’ companies…(although, megablocks was invented here in Montreal, I used to know a fair lady that was once a model for them in her youth…), ringer spy Patrice sends along some of the interactive phrases and sound effects that the intelli-folks have incorporated with the product!
