Chasing the Dragon: Showbiz Ireland reports that Jodie Foster has beaten out Cate Blanchett (Galadriel) for the role of journalist Veronica Guerrin.

The Goonies 2: The sequel is a lock, Richard Donner told The Associated Press that two writers are at work on the sequel and filming will begin within six months to a year and “Everybody’s coming back”. Including our Sean Astin (Sam).
