Well, some of these I’ve already reported on, however since my Scanner has suddenly decided to work again, I’ll delight you all with glorious eye candy!!
First we have an amusing pic of Liv Tyler (Arwen) from ‘The Net’ Magazine, with a link to the article, Liv was also on the cover of ‘The Net’ in that issue. Next is a small blurb from the latest ‘Cinescape Magazine’. After that is the SFX Rings Rumor Round Up, from my favorite boys in the UK, and lastly is the FilmFax Magazine Cover with Christopher Lee, with a link to read a bit about the article. Enjoy!
How very cool to have LOTR mentioned on CNN, the greatest of all TV Stations, I LOVE CNN, can you tell? Ah well, working on getting the clip for you folks…and those CNN people that I KNOW read this site, get back to me! π
CNN Headline News did a story on movie sequels, and the idea of shooting sequels at the same time came up, for example the next Matrix movies are being shot together, as was Back to the Future 2 and 3. They then mentioned The Lord of the Rings, and Bod Friedman of New Line talked about the benifits of shooting all the movies together, especially when using 20,000 extras. They showed a lot of the internet preview during it, with no new footage that I recognized. They usually repeat the stories every 45 minutes or so, so it will probably be on a couple more times today, but I have to go to school.

Thought you might be interested to know there is a new biography of Sean Bean (Boromir) available. The unofficial biography has been written by Laura Jackson, who has also written biographies of Queen, Ewan McGregor, and other celebrities. There apparently isn’t too much info about LOTR since the bio focuses on Sean’s career up to this point, but LOTR is mentioned. You can get more info here at The Compleat Sean Bean
Piatkus Books, the publisher in the UK, has also set up a page.
Cheers,
