Chewbacca might be howling. J.R.R. Tolkien Fans downloaded the first “Lord of the Rings” trailer nearly 1.7 Million times in its first 24 hours on the Net. That put it in a galaxy far, far away from the clip for “The Phantom Menace”, which drew (only) about 1 million the first day. Says a LotR megafan. “It’s so amazing to finally see this world come to life.” if you haven’t already, the first installment premieres Christmas-2001.
