No word on who will play the female warrior nor why Uma turned down the role (or why the role was turned down for her).

I thought I’d drop you a line with a blurb from an article I read yesterday. In the recent Spin Magazine (with Fiona Apple on the cover) there is an article about the Langston brothers who form the group Spacehog. Royston Langston is dating Liv Tyler (Arwen) right now and in the article he mentions the fact that she is currently in New Zealand filming The Lord of the Rings and joked about seeing if she could get him a role as a hobbit in a band.
Just as long as he takes the earrings out first 🙂

Just thought I would offer some news from over in the UK. In Liverpool Empire Theatre, there is a stageplay of The Hobbit, and it is running from 27th February to 4th March 2000.
