An alert fan saw a quick item on TV1 news to the effect that a film-set medieval village scene was being built in the hilly suburb of Seatoun, one of the suburbs next to where Peter Jackson has his studios. “With nobody admitting anything, TV1 thought it might be for LOTR!” said my informant.
