I really enjoyed the film. It was a lot different than Lord of the Rings because the colors were a lot more vibrant. The movie seemed to have more fantasy. It also seemed to be directed at kids, but is a children's book. My only big problem was that sometimes the movie tried to be too funny. Like when the goblin king had his cheesy one-liner. Over all The Hobbit was a really solid movie.
