i went in knowing it wasnt just about the hobbit and it would explain things... but it seemed like the story line of the hobbit was a side story because after the movie i thought about it and it seemed like a long movie but the story didnt really get far... i was kinda disappointed in that but i was excited with great special effects and the acting... my favorite part was goblin town. i do wish they would do more with the eagles because they are my favorite things in middle earth.
