I could hardly be more pleased with this movie. The music, especially the songs from the book that were put in, was glorious, that actors were amazing, and I personally thought that the Great Goblin was beautifully ugly. The part with Galadriel and Gandalf seemed a bit too awkwardly leaning toward romance for me, and I was sad that they left Gollum's fish riddle out, but those are very small things and nothing compared to my pet peeves with the LOtR trilogy. What is it with the 'G' people having the bad parts?
Anyway, my verdict is... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND OVERALL, EXQUISITE. And it stuck so close to book, plus the appendices! <3 Really, it couldn't have been much better.
