As somebody who has been waiting for this movie for years, I was very pleased with the way it came out. The story, though changed in some fairly major ways, was still as true to the book as Fellowship of the Ring. All of the dwarves were spectacular, especially Thorin, Balin, Bofur, and Kili. However, Bilbo and Gollum really took center stage. Gollum's animation was significantly better, which is saying a lot as Gollum was so good in the Lord of the Rings movies. I could not imagine a more perfect Bilbo. Overall an awesome movie.
