I thoroughly enjoyed the film, however some scenes felt a little too familiar or rather similar to those in the Rings trilogy. The effects were amazing. i'm still grossed out by the goblin king's goiter beard, but there were times i wished it weren't used such as with the pale orc.

That being said, the overall experience was great, visually incredible, the score was beautiful and I can't wait to see it again.
