Overall, I was very pleased. I went into the film with the pessimistic comments from critics beforehand, making it so I did not have too high of expectations. I was very worried that they would change the plot from the book too much but they did a fantastic job of making it "movie accessible". Since Peter Jackson and Howard Shore stayed on board, it gave the same overall mood to match the LOTR trilogy. The plot moved rather fast and was packed with action! Great adaptation, cannot wait to see part two!
