Great pacing...well done. Finally a movie that makes dwarves very cool. Wish the glimpses of the dwarven kingdom had been longer because it was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Some minor changes from the book, but I can see why they did hat they did and it makes for a more enjoyable movie with more heroic characters. I can't wait to see it again.My only beef is Radagast. I get that the other wizards were dismissive of him for his focus on animals and plants, but in the film he's a complete nutter. For one of the 5 Istari, I would have liked to see a bit more dignity in the character. I mean come on...dried bird poo on his face?
