The Hobbit was all I had hoped it would be and more. Though the film followed a lyrical pace, it never felt slow or slodgy, and we were surprised at the end of the movie to see what time it was! There were many moments that just took my breath away. I applaud Mr. Jackson and his team on the decision to make three movies, and fill us in on so much background. The movie is the work of genius, and, for a long time Hobbit fan,(I first read it in 1964), it felt like I had come home. Bravo!
