Simply I thought there were some brilliant parts, and not so brilliant parts. Andy Serkis as Gollum and Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins were brilliant, especially during Riddles in the Dark. I liked Radagast, but could have used less of his bunny sled. Azog being CG ruined every scene he was in for me, which is sad considering how good Orc makeup was in LotR. GREAT beginning and ending, but the middle was only okay.
