I read all the negative reviews about this movie so my expectations were somewhat low,however this movie did surprise me as it was great. The prologue showing the dwarf city was fantastic. Overall it wasnt slow at all and was one action scene after the other. The best scenes were the prologue, stone giants, troll screen and the warg battler. Only gripe was that the voice of the goblin king wasnt right for the character and there were too many scenes that were similar to the fellowship, but overall the movie was a great start to the new trilogy.
