 Rings!

In reference to the above, I mean I will see the film again in the same format. I thoroughly enjoyed the film, understanding that this is the beginning, not the spectacular ending that is the Trilogy.
I did, however, find the beginning to drag just a bit, but there were quite a lot of characters to introduce.
The feel, tone and look of the movie was marvelous and I was not disappointed. I did not care for the nature wizard; he was annoying and the makeup seemed juvenile. I had read, though, that the feel of this movie was a bit more fairy tale-ish than the Trilogy. My disclaimer also is that I have not read any of the books - that is why God made Mr. Peter Jackson - so I can view them onscreen, in big, wonderful, living color.
