It's not too long...
I think this is a perfect movie for such a great book. Some people says the movie is to long, I could not think about time while I watch this movie. I saw it in 3D and HFR and I loved it, it gave the an extra greatness NO other movie has. The whole movie I just sat there trying to see everything catch every little detail, it was so great. LOTR had perfect actors for the roles, I must say I thought he got lucky but wow... he has done it again, wish I could talk about everyone and everything it was so spectacular. One actor I want to mention is Martin Freeman, oh my god. Was he born only to completely make The Hobbit a perfect movie, he was stunning.
This is of course only my very own opinion but the conclusion for me is:
A perfect return to Middle-Earth.

And now lets look forward to Beorn, Smaug, Legolas and Bard.
