The Hobbit was brilliant, it was not too long as some critics say. The story and characters are quite complicated so you needed time to get to know them and to get into the story.
I have given the special effects a four only because in our cinema there was a very slight blurring at times (Imax Enfield London) and I would have preferred to watch it without the 3D glasses. Can't wait for the next installment.
