I quite enjoyed the film. I was happily surprised with the amount fo detail that was taken exactly from the book. I also enjoyed the "prologue" which explained the history of the dwarves. The costuming was beautiful and the acting was excellent. I found that the scene with the Great Goblin felt a little like being in a video game; the quality seemed a little off which is something I did not expect from Weta. I also found Radagast's sleigh a little gimicky. Also, Radagast was never really in the Hobbit nor in the appendices information that was used; he seemed a little out of place to me. All and all, I did enjoy it and will see it again to refine my perspective.
