Watched the film yesterday without much expectation.. Was absolutely amazed at it, the casting, the script (not much to do with actual book, more of a LOTR,Silmarillion, Hobbit hybrid, but it works, surprisingly) the whole feel of the film is mind blowingly good. I felt bereft at the end, as I wanted to be taken further into the story, and can't wait to see the next instalment. One thing, though. What's the deal with Thorin's eyebrows? He needs darker ones. Or possibly bushy grey ones, but that's only a tiny quibble. This film is a masterpiece.
