I watched the movie and really enjoyed it. I have read the book many times and although it didn't go strickly by the book I feed the whole movie was very well done. Including the directing, acting and all that goes with movie making. Pete Jackson always does a fantastic job. I rarely go to the movies but I had to go see The Hobbit!! I was not disappointed.My grandson Jeremiah who is 9 years old took me to see it. He enjoyed it too!
