I thought it was excellent - not sure why there have been mixed reviews. It captured the spirit of LOTR perfectly, and didn't feel longer or more drawn out than any of the movies from the original trilogy.
I was fine with the 'extra' scenes that were added, but do agree that Radagast is a little bit silly. I'm glad there wasn't much more of him.
Riddles In The Dark was brilliantly done, as was the dwarves' arrival at Bag End.
The ending was great - a real teaser to what's coming in the next movie!
