The Hobbit has spawned some fantastic fan creations in the past, and this has to rank up alongside some of the best to use the Web's multimedia tools. Goldyard.net is an isometric arcade/adventure online game developed with Macromedia Flash 5 created by Francesco Maisto, which depicts the quest of Arthur Barefeet, a gold-loving Hobbit who manages to sneak into the GoldYard, the graveyard of the wealthiest people in the area.
