Good news for people with strong wrists, because this sounds like a book that could give you repetitive strain injury just from holding it up, and crush your ribcage if you tried to read it in bed.

"A while back I mentioned the release of the Deluxe Edition of History of Middle Earth to be release in the UK. There are three volumes in all to be released in Oct 2000, Apr 2001, and Oct 2001.

Now for a bit of interesting news. After scouring the Amazon.co.UK pages, I realized something else. The is going to be a ONE VOLUME edition put out after the third regular volume is released in Oct 2001. It will be over 5000 pages in length and will cost £250! A little cheaper than buying each volume separately.
