The Breed: A group of friends (Michelle Rodriguez, Taryn Manning, Hill Harper and Oliver Hudson) fly away to a deserted island for the weekend, an island once controlled by a special canine research unit. They soon realize that this beautiful getaway will become their biggest nightmare. Inspired by the horror classics, Cujo and The Birds. Broken Arrow: In 1870, when white men and Indians are fighting bitterly, Tom Jeffords (Stewart) strongly believes the Apaches are treated unfairly. After befriending their leader Cochise (Jeff Chandler) and arranging a truce, he is called upon by a U.S. Army general to negotiate a government peace treaty. Though he fulfills his mission, Jeffords soon experiences great tragedy when he, his Indian wife (Debra Paget) and good friend Cochise become targets of a renegade ambush.

Can-Can: 1896, Montmartre: the Can-Can, the dance in which the women lift their skirts, is forbidden. Nevertheless Simone has it performed every day in her night club. Her employees use their female charm to let the representatives of law enforcement look the other way - or even attend the shows. A major turning point in the war, the Battle of Guadalcanal played out as a bitter dogfight between the powerfully opposing personalities of American fighter pilot James "Pug" Southerland and his Japanese counterpart, Saburo Sakai. This episode of PBS's SECRETS OF THE DEAD series explores the DOGFIGHT OVER GUADALCANAL through contemporary forensic science in conjunction with historical data, as well as dramatic recreations, archival materials, and interviews.

Despite being a social outcast and recluse, he befriends another student, Wichien. They become fast friends and soon things look bright, until one day he finds that his new friend has a deep dark secret.

Epic Movie: The hilarious hi-jinks begin when a hapless group of orphans from curious backgrounds come together to embark on an adventure that takes them to a special chocolate factory where they fall into an enchanted wardrobe and wind-up in a magical land. Here, hilarity ensues when the bungling bunch run into a colorful collection of characters including a flamboyant pirate and a gang of wizardry-apprentices who they join forces with to overthrow the wicked White Bitch of Gnarnia.

Flags of Our Fathers: In February, 1945, one of the fiercest battles of the Pacific theater of World War II occurs on the tiny island of Iwo Jima. Thousands of Marines attack the stronghold maintained by thousands of Japanese, and the slaughter on both sides is horrific. Early in the battle, an American flag is raised atop the high point, Mount Suribachi, and a photograph of the raising becomes an American cause celebre. As a powerful inspiration to war-sick Americans, the photo becomes a symbol of the Allied cause. The three surviving flag raisers, Rene Gagnon, John Bradley, and Ira Hayes, are whisked back to civilization to help raise funds for the war effort. But the accolades for heroism heaped upon the three men are at odds with their own personal realizations that thousands of real heroes lie dead on Iwo Jima, and that their own contributions to the fight are only symbolic and not deserving of the singling out they are experiencing. Each of the three must come to terms with the honors, exploitation, and grief that they face simply for being in a photograph.

Determined to keep her alive, Victor uses his mechanically-enhanced reanimated corpse to murder young women in order to furnish "raw parts" for her new body, among other devious things.

From Russia With Love: James Bond, 007, is sent on a mission to Istanbul to try and acquire a Russian cypher machine known as Lektor from a defecting Russian agent. However, the Russians have no knowledge of this as it is a S.P.E.C.T.R.E. ploy to lure James Bond into a trap - a fitting tribute to their now- dead agent Dr. No.

Fury at Furnace Creek: The son of a court martialled general who diverted a wagon train which was attacked and destroyed, tries to clear his name and find the people really responsible.

The Gary Cooper Giftset: Includes: The Cowboy and the Lady / The Real Glory / Vera Cruz / The Winning of Barbara Worth

The Good German: Who knows what American journalist Jake Geismer (George Clooney) expected to find in postwar Berlin? Peace, maybe. Or at least a story. But certainly not Lena (Cate Blanchett), his beautiful, embittered one-time love. And not the trail of secrecy and deception that leads from Lena to the scheming young corporal (Tobey Maguire) who's her new lover...and to a murder no one seems interested in solving. Except Jake. Steven Soderbergh directs three of today's top talents in this zigzag thriller that's both an atmospheric homage to 1940s filmmaking and a deft modern film noir. The Good German is "haunting and hypnotic, it's pure moviegoing bliss" (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone).

Gun the Man Down: Bank raider, shot in robbery, is deserted by his companions. He goes to jail and when he comes out, seeks his revenge and trails his former associates to a poetic justice.

Later Brad repents and joins his brother, but Brad's former partner Pawnee (Ron Soble)organizes an attack on the brothers. Despite the source that seems to think so, this was not an M-G-M production.

The Hard Easy: Although Paul Weston and Roger Hargitay don't know each other, they have the same problem. They both owe a lot of money, have no conceivable way to pay it back and the clock is ticking. When each gets the opportunity to join a different gang of thieves for a heist that will clear their respective debts, what choice do they possibly have? The good thing is that it will be an easy robbery - an inside job...But maybe it's too easy...?

Hard Target & Sudden Death: The thrill of the hunt. It's the ultimate drug, and the more intense the rush, the higher the price. International superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme teams up with world-famous action director John Woo for this electrifying thriller that WGN Radio hails as "Easily one of the year's best films!" Van Damme is the target of an evil mercenary (Lance Henriksen) who recruits homeless combat veterans for the "amusement" of his clients - bored tycoons who will pay a half a million dollars to stalk and kill the most challenging prey of them all: Man. Laced with dark humor and slam-packed with electrifying action Hard Target is a must see for action fans. International action superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme teams with Powers Boothe in a tension-packed, suspense thriller set against the backdrop of a Stanley Cup game. Van Damme portrays a father whose daughter is suddenly taken during a championship hockey game. Caring for the newborn infant of the woman they just buried will ruin any chance of escape. But they won't go back on their promise to her. They won't abandon little Robert William Pedro. Director John Ford's Western retelling of the Biblical Three Wise Men tale remains a scenic and thematic masterpiece. Ford adds color to his feature-film palette, capturing stunning vistas via cinematographer Winton Hoch, who would win two of his three Academy Awards * for Ford films. Again, populist-minded Ford asserts that even men of dissolute character can follow that inner star of Bethlehem to their own redemption.

The Murder of Fred Hampton: A heady time of change and chains, the 1960s was defined by a common effort to fight against injustice. And Chicago filmmaker Mike Gray was there, using his camera to document the politics of the streets. THE MURDER OF FRED HAMPTON began as a film portrait of Hampton and the Illinois Black Panther Party, but half way through the shoot, Hampton was murdered by Chicago policeman. In an infamous moment in Chicago history and politics, over a dozen policeman burst into Hampton s apartment while its occupants were sleeping, killing Hampton and fellow Panther Mark Clark and brutalizing the other occupants. Filmmakers Mike Gray and Howard Alk arrived a few hours later to shoot film footage of the crime scene that was later used to contradict news reports and police testimony. Recently restored and reworked by Gray, THE MURDER OF FRED HAMPTON is a chilling slice of American history. Also included is a short film, CICERO MARCH, which chronicled a group who defied Mayor Richard J. Daley s order to march into predominantly white Cicero to protest racism and injustice. Gray s gritty, no-frills style is spontaneous and purposeful suggesting a you-are-there quality that captures the excitement of the era. Shot verite style, with no script, hand-held camera, direct sound, and natural lighting, the look is rough, raw, and real much like the city it depicted.

With an initiation by the security guard, Nina also discovers the adventurous potential of the library rooftop. He tries to duck work and let them fend for themselves.
