Is it May 24th yet?? We really can't wait until Memorial Day weekend, when the City of Angels will welcome Star Wars fanatics from across the globe for Celebration IV, in honor of the big 30th Anniversary of the saga! To get things started, today was the first official day of Priority Pre-Orders for our Star Wars 30th Anniversary Exclusives! The Attendee edition of the Medicom Toy Sandtrooper is selling at a brisk pace, and Non-Attendees will have their chance Friday at 10AM (PT) - check the Star Wars section of this newsletter for more information. Next week we'll begin pre-ordering our creative Space Slug enviorama, which you can see through our preview link, also in the Star Wars section of today's newsletter. ***Remember, if you are ordering Attendee editions, you MUST pick your items up at the convention BEFORE Noon (12:00 PM PT) on Sunday, May 27th, or your orders will be canceled. Any canceled products products will be offered to walk-up Attendees beginning Monday morning, May 28th. If you are in doubt about your attendence, please order a Non-Attendee edition to be safe! Keep in mind that credit cards will begin processing for 30th Anniversary Exclusives during the week of May 3rd, and Non-Attendee shipping will begin at the end of May, so be sure to make the necessary financial arrangements before then - we'd hate to have to cancel your order due to a decline! Talk about pimpin' your ride... Sideshow's truck wins hands-down! We invite our collectors to take a look at the eye-catching new graphics on our local delivery truck. This trusty cube truck can be seen driving the streets of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, sometimes even venturing as far as San Diego when it’s packed full of Comic-Con goodies. Wizard Entertainment held it's annual Wizard World Los Angeles comic book convention over the weekend of March 16th-18th, and a few members of the Sideshow crew were spotted enjoying some R&R at the show. StatueForum.com owner, Danny Rodriguez, ran into a group of the production guys wandering the floor and was able to award them in person with his site's Best of 2006 Awards, which Sideshow swept back in January, walking away with Best Company, Best Statue, and a slew of others.
