We have some exciting announcements today for those of you on the edge of your seats wondering what our Star Wars Celebration IV exclusives will be and if they will be made available to non-attendees. First of all, we'd like to assure you that we will most definitely offer a percentage of each exclusive to Non-Attendees, as well as to our international distributors. Secondly, we thought you might enjoy a tease as to what you can expect when the final announcement arrives, which will be very soon! There will be THREE Sideshow Exclusive offered for this Celebration: One will be an iconic 12-inch figure, one will be a cool distributed figure, and one will be a unique diorama/environment! Don't forget that this Saturday evening, March 10th, marks the beginning of Daylight Savings Time in the United States! This an interesting year for Daylight Savings Time, as DST has been changed to begin earlier and end later to help conserve energy (this year it will end on November 4th rather than in October). We're excited to announce that a few key members of the Sideshow Creative Team will be presenting two panels this weekend at the One Ring Celebration in Burbank, CA on Saturday, March 10th, and we will be bringing our Faramir 12-inch figure, Sauron bust, and Crack of Doom diorama with us! If you will be attending this annual LOTR convention, make sure to stop by on Saturday at 12:25 PM (PST) on the Main Stage to learn a little about the ins-and-outs of creating Lord of the Rings collectibles. Then at 6:00 PM, come armed with your questions - and cameras! - as there will be a special meet and greet opportunity in the 'Hobbit Track' room, including a FREE raffle for a Frodo Baggins Premium Format figure, plus Sideshow Gift Cards to grab (while supplies last)! We are currently re-adjusting our podcast schedule to incorporate even more interesting and unique segments with numerous members of the Sideshow staff, from the Customer Service department to the Creative Team! We'd like to let all of our EU collectors know that we have posted information about all 2007 Holiday closures that will effect our European Union warehouse. These dates will be: Good Friday Bank Holiday: April 6th - Easter Monday Bank Holiday: April 9th - Early May Bank Holiday: May 7th - Spring Bank Holiday: May 28th - Summer Bank Holiday: August 27th - Christmas / New Year Holiday: December 21st, 2007 through January 3rd, 2008. We are excited to announce that we will be distributing an exclusive version of the Akuma mixed media 18-inch statue from Jerry Macaluso's new line of Pop Culture Shock Collectibles! A student of the deadly martial art known as 'Ansatsuken' (aka Assassin Fist), Akuma is a popular character in Capcom's successful series of 'Street Fighter' video games.
