The vast stores of knowledge on their website are still around and still free here

We heard from Ian Brodie, author of the 'Lord of the Rings Locations Guide' which gives you all the details you need to know about the major LOTR film locations in New Zealand - including how to find them. The book's proved a runaway success and they are bringing out updated versions in the light of what we know from seeing TTT; next year there will be a coffee-table sized version. Here's the facts from Ian:

-Now 70,000 plus copies sold.
-Been NZ No.1 now for 14 weeks.
-Fastest selling book in NZ history.
-This November a further revised edition will be released. 32 more pages with RoTK locations included and a rewrite of the TTT locations.
-Mid 2004 a hard back coffee table version released with much bigger pics etc.
-Late 2004 a Limited Edition Leather bound version released. Limited to 500 copies worldwide signed by cast and crew.

Orders to LordoftheRingsLocations.com

Last but not least is TORN's own book which we announced last week. Due to hit the bookshops in April - worldwide, we hope - the book is already available for pre-order from Amazon here So if you've ever enjoyed our writing on Green Books and Tehanu's Notes, our 'People's Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien offers the best of those articles plus new ones.
