12/06/05, 10:08 pm EST - Xoanon
Truly a classic theater, the Grand Lake still provides a Mighty Wurlitzer organ mini concert every Friday and Saturday evening before the show. On Friday nights, starting December 16, internationally renown organist Warren Lubich will perform music from Max Steiner's 1933 King Kong score. There may also be a small surprise: sheet music from The Lost World has been unearthed.
King Kong will screen daily at Noon, 4pm and 8pm in the main auditorium. Matinee price is $6 (12 and 4pm). Evening shows are $9.00 Child/Senior tickets, always $6.00. The organ Kongcert is included with admission.
