Kong & PJ Books Update!

8/09/05, 7:22 pm EST - Xoanon

Kong Spy Spooky Chicken writes: Just came back from a Harper Collins Christmas catalogue presentation and they had a little bit about King Kong. This was just the Australian market and they mentioned that they hadn't yet prepped the adult tie ins, only the childrens books which included a colouring book and two different versions of juinor novels, though a 'making of' and 'Art' book are to be expected. The interesting release is 'Peter Jackson : A Film Makers Journey' which is the first AUTHORISED biography about ol' Pete due out later this year. It's 320 pages of Brian Sibley with Peter Jackson discussing his career from beginning through to the struggles to get King Kong on the screen. A paperback was the only release planned here, but there could be a hardcover version in NZ of the US?!?

The rep also said that popular in depth interviewer Andrew Denton (Australia's Parkinson) is dying to interview Mr Jackson and plans are being made for Denton to travel out to NZ for the one hour television interview whilst Jackson is finishing up editing for Kong.
