Tonight (August 2nd) on Extra TV they did a short spot on the importance of the internet to movie studios and how the internet buzz can either boost or kill box office sales. LOTR was one of the films mentioned (other films included the new Harry Potter movie, and the Blair Witch Project to name only two) as having a huge internet push. They showed about 2 seconds from the new teaser trailer and a quick shot of the official LOTR website. Let's hope they expand their coverage soon and give the general public more looks at our wonderful films.
